There’s no better way than a giant image of Smithy regenerating to tell the world we’re back 🙂

Our server has been removed and the website deleted, this is what actually happened to ComicWho.com:
On 31 Jan our service provider decided to stop supporting the control panel of our VPS (Kloxo) and they’ve sent a mail asking US to remove the software by reinstalling the operating system or contact them in order to upgrade to a more expensive control panel.
We had to do this before the 14 Feb (basically they gave us only FOURTEEN DAYS)
They haven’t sent any further communication (not a single follow up). The problem is GMail decided to put THAT single mail on my spam folder, so I had no clues this was happening until the 21 Feb, when they actually deleted my VPS without making any kind of backup.
OK, it’s not their fault if the mail was put in the spam folder, but why only ONE mail? And why with only a 2 weeks notice? What if I was on holiday? Or in a hospital?
The fact is now we need to rebuild the website from scratch, we’ve lost a lot of experimental code I was working on and we’re loosing the moneys from the ads.

That’s it! But we’re still here and (please, allow me that)
we don’t want to go!!! In less than 2 weeks I’ve reduilt a brand new website (it’s WordPress with
Minimable theme) and rewritten all the posts (O_O yep… all the posts). Hopefully everything will be fine now and we’ll love to have your feedback on the new website.
